How Come the Memory I Bought Is Not Working? Wrong Specification? (Crash, Blue screen, Won’t boot up)
1. Is the memory installed correctly?
2. Whether the motherboard chipset or CPU is supported (check the motherboard website and manual)
3. Update BIOS to the latest version
4. Do not mix with other memory brands.
Why is only half my memory usable after installing the memory?
1. Check the maximum memory capacity supported by your device
2. Update the BIOS to the latest version
3. Search for [System Settings] from the toolbar, click [Advanced Options] in [Boot], uncheck [Maximum Memory], and click OK to restart

5.0 out of 5 stars Yes, it will downclock too.
I got this to use in Dell optiplex that supports up to 1333MHz memory. In one of the Amazon “questions” a person asks if you can overclock this memory. A teamgroup representative tells them you can’t over clock it…or under clock it. They said you must buy the ram that runs at the native speed you require. While it’s perhaps true that this isn’t the best ram to try to over clock, I’m sure this memory will under clock (run at a lower MHz) just fine.
Unfortunately I didn’t see that the manual for my PC states that it can only support dimms in 1GB, 2GB, and 4GB sizes for a total of 8GB (it has two slots). While the CPU itself supports up to 32GB, it seems that the motherboard does not. Oddly enough it actually recognized the full 16GB. The memory clocked down to 1333MHz 9CL. The OS booted up. It would even pass 2 rounds of memtest86. Sadly it would always crash the PC on the third pass of memtest86.
The memory itself was perfectly fine. I ended up using it in another system that supports both 1600MHz and 32GB. I used two kits of two for a total of 32GB (4x16GB). A teamgroup rep will also probably tell you that you can’t mix two identical but separate kits, but it completed 6 passes of memtest86 with flying monochromatic colors. Is 32GB overkill for a 4th gen PC? Probably…but at this price, why not?
It’s nice that these are black instead of green or blue just on the off chance you’re upgrading your old 2014 gaming rig with plexiglass side panel. Obviously these don’t have RGB, but neither does the PC you’re using them in.

5.0 out of 5 stars Solved a problem with Forza 5 background not fully loading after playing 2+ hours.
I bought 2 sets of these 16GB Team DDR 3 sticks – going from 16GB to 32GB. This took care of the game background not fully loading with 16GB – but which it should have easily done.
I have been using this memory for 2+ months and it works great!
The only negative thing I can say was that it was extremely hard to seat the ram sticks in my motherboard slots. I finally had to use a plastic car door tool and a week’s worth of curse words to finally get them seated!
But it was worth it!

5.0 out of 5 stars So far so good
I just installed my RAM and my compter is speedy and stable again after wasting about $50.00 on A-tech RAM that made my computer run like a 486. They need to take that RAM off the market. Sometimes some things that seem too good to be true actually works and TeamGroup RAM is doing an excellent job in my PC. It was very easy to install and work like a champ. I hope like some of the other reviews I don’t have to come back a month or so to change my review but until then I am very satisfied.

5.0 out of 5 stars Solid, stable basic RAM kit.
Bought two of these kits to expand the memory to 32gb in my Minecraft server. Kits just work. No hassle, no fuss. Plenty of ram. The kits are stable. I’d recommend these to anyone needing DDR3 still.

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful RAM DDR3
Ram memory works as it should, it’s a pity that the era of DDR3 has already passed. I’m glad I can now afford to install 32GB

4.0 out of 5 stars Just the upgrade I needed for my PC.
I was a bit hesitant to install it, as I was upgrading from 8GB to 16GB. Doing it’s job perfectly, no complaints whatsoever!
